Greetings to all you global embermembers out there !

Well it's a busy time at Embers HQ at the moment, what with band in the studio, and out and about on the local circuit at the moment. It seems like you all want to know what's the latest on the album release, and on the gig front, so I thought I'd drop in, and let a few things out of the big 'ol Embers hat.

Firstly, to say thankyou to all of you who have downloaded the songs from the last ep's over the last couple of months and the Live Acoustic sessions which we posted as we prepared for the album. Its great to see so many of you from across the planet dropping by to see what's happening in Emberland...literally from Albania to Vietnam...

We thankyou for stopping by, and hope you are enjoying the tunes. Keep checking back, as there will be some exclusive tracks up for grabs when the album enters its final stages before release.

Secondly, A big thanks to all of you closer to home who have got to the gigs and come up said "Hi", or dropped us a kind email ( info@theembers.co.uk.) This current run of local gigs started at The Barns Green Music Festival on 19th July. A superb day in the sunshine, and one of the best local music festivals we have been to with a great family atmosphere and all for a great charity cause. There are some pictures on the site of the band on stage, just perfect. Following on from that we are playing at most of the live venues on the local scene over the next month or so, before we strike out further afield, and it'll be great to see you out there again...this is all in preparation for the album release later this year....

Lastly, and what you've been asking for, the album itself. Well, as you may or not know, we now have our own purpose built studio. Writing the album was completed in late Spring with 14 tracks being taken into studio production after we recorded the Live Acoustic sessions.
Recording proper started in June with JB laying down all the drum tracks, and at present Steve is finishing all the lead guitar work. So, what tracks are on the album ? Well, you will have to wait and see, but just to say that all the crowd favourites are there, plus some great new tracks which are in the live set at the moment.

The album is set for release in late Autumn, and you will be able to get hold of it through this site and affiliated online stockists...but more about that later.
