'Up Down Town' is ready to go....

The fourth song in our acoustic quartet is ready for download. The song is all about San Francisco so if you've ever been, or better still you live there, you may recognise some of the references in the lyrics.

Just like the other three tracks the band was recorded live with just the harmonies overdubbed.

One of our other songs 'Where are you now?' has been picked up by another podcast. Mikes Sight of Things , a German podcast (quite fitting with the World Cup and all). Thanks to Mike for his support..please check him out and brush up on your German like I had to !

The new album is progressing really well. We should finish the bass & acoustic guitars tomorrow night...its all sounding good.

Check the websight shortly for a glut of new gigs during the summer.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers accused of plagiarism

Came across this this morning. The Chilli's are being accused of plagiarising Tom Petty's 'Mary Janes Last Dance', which is a great song that we cover in our set.

I've played this song a million times and I have to say that the verse progression is pretty similiar and the theme is along the same lines, but the groove isn't quite right.

The chords are A minor, G & D which aren't exactly unusual !

Let me know what you think ?
